Your pledge is the statement of intended giving from your household for the Fiscal Year (July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2026). Pledging invites us into a yearly rhythm of prayerfully considering how God has provided for us and how he may be calling us to Give. It also contributes to the most accurate picture for a wise operating budget for the year ahead.
If you consider Resurrection to be your Church home, please make a pledge. Whether or not you have participated in the membership process at Resurrection, making your life in this community invites you to participate in the ministry of the Church, and that includes giving. If you are still discerning whether or not Resurrection is the place for you, please feel no pressure to make a pledge. We hope that if and when you do decide on a church home, you make your pledge known.
Tithing is defined by the giving of 10% of your income to the Church. It’s a standard set Biblically in Leviticus 27, and I encourage you to consider a tithe as your rule of thumb when it comes to your giving. However, the Bible is also clear that each one should give according to “what you have decided in your heart” (2 Cor 9:7). Giving is a spiritual consideration, as well as an act of Worship. I implore you to take this opportunity to talk with God about the material blessings in your life and ask Him to lead you in making your pledge.
The Vicar (Rev. Lewis Lovett) is the only person at Resurrection who will see your pledge and giving. As your priest, he keeps this in complete confidence. Giving details are also seen and managed by a financial operations firm we contract with, Auxilio Partners.
