Service Time Change Effective October 6
We're moving to 11 am in the Chapel at Bon Air United Methodist!
Why Move to the Chapel?
We met the the Bon Air Chapel for the first 4 months of our church’s life. We moved to the Sanctuary in July because the air-conditioning broke in the Chapel and we have been waiting for it to be repaired. The Chapel’s size is much more appropriate for our weekly attendance. It is also adjacent to our Nursery and ResKids rooms.
Why move to 11:00 AM?
I’m grateful for Bon Air UMC’s generosity and flexibility to allow us to try out the 11:00 AM service. Our hope is that meeting at 11:00 AM will be easier on families with young children. Our further hope is that 11:00 AM will be more conducive to families in the area who are not yet plugged into a church.
What will it be like?
We’ll ask you to park on the North side of the parking lot, to the far left if you are looking at the building from Buford Rd. There is a lot right next to the door to the chapel (Picture Below). You’ll enter the white double doors indicated by the blue arrow, walk up a few steps, and turn right to head into the chapel. We’ll be using the month of October to experiment with the 11:00 service to determine if it is a healthy option for both Resurrection and Bon Air UMC.
